PROTECTIVE SHOOTING I
Carrying a firearm for personal protection, or for the protection of others, requires specific skills. The Protective Shooting I class teaches the shooter how to safely clear non-combatants from harm’s way while engaging the threat using deadly force. The curriculum concentrates on the techniques required to protect and move the innocent. Emphasis is also placed on escape and evasion while protecting the non-combatants, social, ethical, and moral responsibilities, as well as post event survival skills. Families and couples are encouraged to attend and work the class as a team. Due to the nature of the marking cartridges, the student may experience some discomfort during this class.
